Already on sale in the United Kingdom, the Landmark celebrates 70 years of the Land Rover marque this year, and for the Discovery Sport the celebratory touches consists of 19-inch gloss dark grey Mantis alloy wheels, a sportier front bumper and a choice of three colours; Narvik Black, Corris Grey and Yulong White with a contrasting Carpathian Grey roof. Inside, the Landmark gets an Ebony finished headliner and grained leather seats, as well as a dark aluminium finish on the centre stack.
Up front, the 2.0-litre TD4 Ingenium turbodiesel engine remains unchanged with power rated at 132kW and torque at 430Nm. In some markets, the Landmark will also be available with the 2.0-litre Si4 turbocharged petrol that makes 177kW/340Nm.
While no pricing has yet been revealed, the Landmark kicks-off at £40 400 (R676 567) in its home market, but expect it to be significantly more when it arrives on local shores, given the Discovery Sport’s starting price of R680 433.
