GEORGE NEWS - Earlier this month, on Saturday 15 July, the compassionate efforts of 470 dedicated volunteers from Hope Church left an indelible mark on hundreds of people and organisations in George. With 24 different locations as their canvas, they embarked on a day of simple, yet powerful acts of kindness that surpassed all expectations, making it an extraordinary day indeed.
Paul and Marinette van Coller, senior pastors of the Hope Church family, want to extend a heartfelt thank you to every volunteer who served.
It was not only the volunteers' time and effort that made a difference, but also the generous donations of cupcakes, blankets, paint, and financial contributions that played a pivotal role in making this endeavor a resounding success.
Hundreds of people in our city were impacted because of YOU. Together we created a meaningful impact that will last beyond just one day and into eternity. Well done, Hope Church family!
Our hope is that serving others becomes our focus throughout the year. We exist so others may live.
