In the same mould as the 911 GTS, the Panamera, and its shooting brake-styled sibling, differ subtly from their standard counterparts aesthetically, in that both are outfitted with 20-inch Panamera Design alloy wheels, black finishes on the front and rear facias, uprated brakes as per the yellow calipers, a 10mm drop in ride height and black GTS logos at the base of the front doors.
Inside, both get anodised aluminium as well as black Alcantara trim pieces, GTS badging, and as part of the optional GTS Interior package, customisable elements such as the rev counter, stitching and GTS logos in a choice of two of hues; Carmine Red or Crayon.
Fitted as the standard with the otherwise optional Adaptive Air Suspension, Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) and a new Heads-Up Display, the GTS comes powered by the familiar 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine that has been tuned to produce 338kW/620Nm.
Teamed with an eight-speed PDK gearbox and with drive going to all four wheels, Porsche claims a top speed of 292km/h for the Panamera and 289km/h for the Sport Turismo, with both able to complete the benchmark 0-100km/h sprint in 4.1 seconds.
Available for order in Germany, pricing for the GTS starts at €138 493 (R2 287 858) for the Panamera and at €141 349 (R2 335 038) for the Sport Turismo, with local availability yet to be confirmed.
