BODYBUILDING NEWS - Paraplegic bodybuilder Shaun Butler returned home last week in high spirits, with a very impressive medal. Shaun earned the title of third best bodybuilder in the world, in the category Mixed Disability, at the Physical Culture Association (PCA) World Championships in Malaga, Spain.
Four bodybuilders competed in the division for people with disabilities. The other three were men from Great Britain.
"It was an amazing experience," said Shaun, who has been wheelchair-bound for the past nine years.
"The town of Malaga is incredible, very accessible, and the people are very accepting. My competitors, three Brits, were in such high spirits and brought such a positive vibe. The event was brilliantly organised. People went out of their way to make sure we were having a great time."

Shaun speaks highly of the venue where they stayed, the sight-seeing afterwards and the wonderful food.
"In the end we skipped the wine tour we planned, but enjoyed the typical Spanish foods. The tapas is absolutely amazing. It was one excursion in my life I will never forget. I am so grateful to everyone who contributed to helping me achieve this goal, the support, and I am proud of my third place. It is difficult to put words to such a wonderful experience."
Shaun Butler represented our country in the Physical Culture Association World Championships on 19 November in Spain.
