GEORGE NEWS - A 46-year-old woman has been arrested in connection with the murder of a 32-year-old man whose body was found in Korhaan Street, Conville, George, on Saturday, 31 October.
Southern Cape police spokesperson Warrant Officer Chris Spies confirmed that officers responded to the scene at approximately 17:05 and found the man with a stab wound to his chest.
Paramedics declared him dead at the scene.
Police are investigating allegations that the woman and the deceased had been involved in a dispute earlier.
The suspect remains in custody and is expected to appear in court tomorrow Monday, 2 November, on a murder charge.
The identity of the deceased has not yet been released.
Conville detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
