Mr Izak van Heerden, diretor of Asla Construction said the deceased was an employee of the site sub-contractor and hails from Eendekuil on the West Coast.
He asked that motorists stick to the speed limit as Asla is doing everything they can to ensure the safety of their employees.
In both the other accidents the vehicles overturned, but miraculously nobody was seriously injured.
