GEORGE NEWS - Badisa's Open Gardens opened at 09:00 this morning.
The weather is playing along and the event has been well supported so far.
One of the main organisers, Philda Benkenstein, says they are expecting a bigger turnout than last year.
Ticket sales at 36 Stander Street, where Des Benkenstein's beautiful English country garden can be viewed, have been good so far.
The takings are in aid of Badisa.
The gardens are a must see for every keen gardener or anyone who appreciates the beauty of nature.
