GEORGE ENTERTAINMENT NEWS - Two young dancers of Rhythmical Seeds Dance School in George, Judah Mkhambi (14) and Chloe Swanepoel (10), recently returned from representing South Africa at the Dance World Cup 2025 in Burgos, Spain.
The event welcomed over 8 000 dancers from more than 50 countries, making it one of the world's most prestigious dance platforms. Both dancers earned top 20 placements in their solo categories.
This is an impressive feat, especially for Judah, who has only been dancing for three years.
For studio founder Lizette Gerber, the true highlight wasn't the rankings, but the heart behind the journey. "This experience wasn't about medals - it was about growth, purpose and community," she said. "Our dancers not only performed beautifully, but carried themselves with humility and a hunger to learn."
Even more moving was the support from fellow students back home, cheering them on across oceans, as well as the friendships formed with dancers from around the world.
Judah and Chloe return home, ready to sow the seeds of their experience into the next season with renewed passion, vision and boldness.
