GEORGE NEWS - George High 1 triumphed over an extremely competitive York High, winning the Lew Geffen Sotheby's International Realty Summer Business League title for the first time.
The Plate Division was also closely contested with Mazars taking the lead over team Ricoh.
The sixth and last round was played on Thursday 14 March and despite Eskom's load shedding, the final round was hotly contested by all teams.
In the fifth round, which had to be postponed due to rain, York High and George High 1 played to a draw, which set up an exciting final. FNB Spartans won the session prize for round five, with "melktertjies for touches" generously sponsored by Jan Pretorius.
The main sponsor, Tim Kirby of Lew Geffen Sotheby's International Realty, presented the winners and runner-up teams with their prizes and Heineken's Marius Esterhuizen, the business league bar sponsor, presented both the session prize for round six to Fidelity ADT and the lucky draw prizes.
