n Gardag is a non-profit organisa-tion started by Ken Gie and run by volunteers. Their mission is to monitor water quality of the natural resources in the George area.
They raise awareness of the Garden Route Dam and advocate sustainable water management practices. Their core committee was re-elected for another term after a year of restructuring the group into a non-profit company.
They invite young people to join the organisation and the committee to become involved in projects related to water sustainability in George.
"We can especially improve in the area of social media and communication.
Volunteering services are a good way to gain experience needed for finding employment," said chairperson Desireé du Preez.
