Taken from a Japanese catalogue and posted by Hamad1two3 over the weekend, the grainy low resolution images sees the Prado adopting a more sleek appearance inspired by that of the bigger Land Cruiser 200, with a completely redesigned grille, new bonnet, revised headlights with integrated daytime running LEDs, new bumpers and updated taillights.
The interior sees the biggest the change though with a brand new centre facia finished in silver and piano key black, wood inlays, different instrument cluster, new HVAC controls and an updated touchscreen infotainment display.
No technical details were revealed but expect the Prado, internationally at least, to again feature a 2.7-litre four-cylinder petrol, a 4.0-litre V6 and the same 2.8-litre GD-6 turbodiesel used in the Hilux and Fortuner. Transmission options will likely consist of a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic.
