For more than five decades, we have partnered with municipalities, businesses and communities across the Western Cape to address complex infrastructure challenges.

A key focus of our work has been strengthening water security and resilience in George through innovative, sustainable engineering solutions.

Our recent contributions to George Municipality’s water infrastructure includes the Kaaimans pump station replacement, the Garden Route Dam suction pipe upgrade, the new 40ML balancing dam at the George water treatment works, and the Pacaltsdorp East reservoir and water tower.

Together, these projects have enhanced water storage capacity, improved system reliability, strengthened network resilience and supported the efficient distribution of water to growing communities.

Today, our George office forms part of Zutari’s 2 200-strong team across Africa and the Middle East, combining global expertise with deep local knowledge to deliver infrastructure solutions that create lasting impact and help communities thrive.

Zutari was responsible for constructing the Garden Route Dam spillway and embankment crest raising.
