Update
GEORGE NEWS - The suspect, Thembinkosi Joseph Mgabaza (33), who was allegedly involved in the attack and robbery on Karen Marshall at her home in Hoekwil last December, appeared in the Mossel Bay Magistrate's Court on Monday 16 April.
Mgabaza, from KwaNonqaba in Mossel Bay, was arrested on 5 January on a charge of possession of stolen property and theft. At the time of his arrest he had a cellphone in his possession that linked him to the attack.
The case was postponed for a regional court date on 7 May in the Mossel Bay Magistrate's Court, after which the matter will be transferred to George where he remains in custody.
Four men attacked Marshall when she left her home to dispose of her leftover supper at around 22:00 on Thursday 28 December.
