WILDERNESS NEWS - On Tuesday 23 May, Wilderness resident Wynter Worsthorne, renowned international interspecies communicator, will be giving a talk on her life's work and passion.
Worsthorne has been working as a professional animal communicator since 2001, went on to pioneer the teaching in South Africa, and is the founder of AnimaltalkAfrica.
She is passionate about assisting African wildlife and has worked closely with various wildlife organisations, such as the Global White Lion Protection Trust, since the early 2000s, and created her own online academy to facilitate learning for people around the globe.
She teaches workshops in the UK, Europe and Africa and has been a core facilitator for the Global White Lion Protection Trust Academy for LionHearted Leadership™ since its inception.
Why is communication with animals so important?
"Learning to communicate with all species is about becoming in tune and at one with the beings with whom we share this beautiful planet. It is about discovering what is best for the animals, the planet and ourselves and making a difference. It is not a special gift, but an ancient indigenous ability that is innate in us all and just needs to be re-awakened and nurtured," says Wynter.
The talk is arranged by the Wilderness Ratepayers and Residents Association (WRRA) and will be held at Fairy Knowe Hotel at 18:00 for 18:30. Entrance fee: R10 for members, R20 for non-members.
There is a cash bar, as well as opportunities to meet new people or connect with familiar faces.
