BUSINESS NEWS - Halfway Toyota George is bursting with pride. With no less than seven members of their sales team achieving "knighthood" in an annual programme run by Toyota, including scooping three of the five main categories to boot, clients can be certain of getting only the best service.
The prizes were handed over at a special ceremony at their offices on Thursday 2 March.
Called the Knights programme, the competition is an incentive to achieve the best possible.
Those who qualify as knights represent an elite group of sales professionals who promote the image of supreme sales professional and create aspirational levels for other sales professionals.
They are a valuable asset to both their dealership and Toyota South Africa, making a significant contribution to the profitability of the brand.
According to Ty Meiring, new vehicle sales manager at Halfway Toyota George, Toyota runs the Knights programme every year. All staff from the different departments are encouraged to enter and try to fulfil all the requirements to be recognised as knights at the end of the year.
"This year at the knights inauguration, we had a total of seven members of the sales team achieve knighthood and the dealership won three of the five major categories," says Meiring. "It is the first time that a branch achieved this."
