Reportedly set to bow on January 14th, the 45 second clip posted on Facebook shows the a red A90 Supra roaring underneath a series of overpasses in what appears to be a car park, while power sliding against the backdrop of a series of lights.
Effectively conforming to the single image snapped in a back of a transporter last month, the A90 is still lightly toned down from the FT-1 Concept that bowed at the same event five years ago, in that only mild changes have been to the F1-style pointy nose and headlights, though the air vents on either side of the bumper and underneath the nose itself are wider.
As indicated by previous spy shots, the rear-end borrows heavily from the A80 Supra that went out of production in 2002, and comes with the trademark duck-tail rear spoiler, thin taillight clusters, dual exhaust outlets and a diffuser integrated into the rear bumper.
Based on the prior reports, the Supra, which will be made by Magna Steyr in Graz, Austria alongside the BMW Z4 as part of a joint venture between the two manufactures, will measure 4 380mm in overall length with a wheelbase of 2 470mm, height of 1 290mm, width of 1 855mm and tip the scales at 1 496kg.
Equipped with an Active Limited Slip Differential, a 50/50 distribution, a Drift mode and a dedicated Track mode that deactivates all of the various driving aids completely, power will come from the same 3.0-litre turbocharged straight-six used in the Z4 with a reported output of 221kW, allowing for a 0-100km/h acceleration time of around five seconds.
In addition to the inline-six, Toyota will also offer a smaller 2.0-litre turbo four-cylinder at some stage again sourced from BMW, while the standard transmission option will be an eight-speed automatic with a six-speed manual reserved for select markets.
Despite the leaks, expect Toyota to only reveal complete details when the Detroit showpiece commences
