Effectively confirming the spy images that surfaced as long ago as April, the blacked-out single image previews the same headlight design as the Pajero Sport and silver side of the grille, confirming the adopting of the x-shaped Dynamic Shield styling language as the Asian market Xpander MPV.
As evident by the prototypes spotted testing in Europe earlier this month, the Triton seems to have received updated taillights too, while prior reports have suggested a revised infotainment system complete with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as well as Autonomous Emergency Braking.
Mitsubishi has also remained coy on drivetrain detail though, but rumours are that the Triton will continue with the current 133kW/430Nm 2.4-litre DI-D turbodiesel motor mated to the six-speed manual gearbox or, speculatively, the same eight-speed automatic as the Pajero Sport.
