Spotted by Britain’s Autocar testing, the i30 looks set to be the first model to fall underneath the N-Line banner, with a number of exterior additions taken from the i30 N, namely the model specific body kit, 18-inch alloy wheels and red detailing.
At the front, and as evident by the still heavy black cladding, the N-Line will incorporate a front fascia derived from the i30 N, while the report also claims that it will receive updated suspension and dampers, as well as a slightly tweaked chassis again taken from the i30 N.
While the interior will be less extreme than the i30 N with only mild updates, the N-Line’s range of engine will be kept unchanged and mirror those of the standard car, namely a 88 kW 1.0-litre T-GDI and 103 kW 1.4-litre T-GDI turbocharged, and a 1.6-litre CRDI turbodiesel with outputs ranging from 81 kW to 100 kW. Transmission options will consist of a six-speed manual or seven-speed dual-clutch.
Local availability will be revealed at a later stage.
