GEORGE NEWS - Melissa Dalton from the Precious Tree Project in Wilderness will highlight biodiversity challenges and successes in the greater Wilderness area with her talk at a Savewild meeting on Wednesday 22 May at the Fairy Knowe Hotel in Wilderness.
Dalton will also present an exciting new concept of biodiversity and wildlife corridors between Wilderness and Sedgefield.
Dr Zanri Strydom, manager and seabird specialist of Dunefields Private Nature Reserve, will give feedback on the amazing conservation work being conducted at this reserve in aid of building back biodiversity into the landscape.
Dune fields, located east of Wilderness, are being actively managed to conserve nature and to act as a safe haven for all wildlife.
The evening will increase the audience's understanding and awareness of biodiversity matters in the greater Wilderness area.
Be prepared to be inspired.
Savewild is presenting the meeting on occasion of the International Day for Biological Diversity.
The meeting will start at 17:30 for 18:00.
