GEORGE NEWS & VIDEO - Two local religious leaders, chairperson of the Ministers' Fraternal in Thembalethu Reverend Boyce Saleni of the Reformed Baptist Church, and the secretary of Ministers' Fraternal, Reverend Bonganjalo Mbenenge of the Uniting Reformed Church, are appealing to residents to register for their anti-Covid-19 vaccinations.
Both reverends received their first Pfizer vaccinations at the Thembalethu Clinic last Friday, and urge all residents to follow suit.
Mbenenge says many people are hesitant to be vaccinated as many lies are doing the rounds, creating distrust. He asked that people stop spreading untrue rumours and save themselves and their loved ones by getting the vaccine.
"Please have your vaccinations so that we can bring an end to the pandemic and be safe. There is no long wait and you will quickly be in and out."
