GEORGE NEWS - The Carpe Diem School for learners with special needs, like any other school, has to prepare for their 105 staff members and 370 special needs learners to return to school. Elzeth Grobler, the principal, says they have spent a lot of time preparing and planning. "This planning was done so our staff and learners could return to a safe and disinfected space."
She is especially grateful toward Wilma Rademan of the NPO Clickonit Cares, who helped to procure a donation of disinfectant, two pressure sprayers, 20 micro cloths and 10 trigger spray bottles on behalf of the school governing body.
Grobler says the way Rademan jumped into action and helped to organise these much-needed donations was amazing.
The donations were handed over last Friday, 8 May, when Grobler met with the branch manager of SSK AgriLand George, Freddie Victor. Rademan also donated heavy duty disinfectant on behalf of Johan Rademan of Classic Paints George.
Johan is willing to continue sponsoring them with this product for as long as Covid-19 continues. Grobler is immensely grateful and thanks each of the donors from the heart.
"You have shown kindness, caring and most of all, charity beyond what words can say. Be blessed in all you do."
Freddie Victor of AgriLand with Carpe Diem principal Elzeth Grobler and Wilma Rademan of the NPO Clickonit Cares.
