GEORGE BOWLING NEWS - Three women's teams of George Bowling Club reached the semi-finals of the Eden trips championships at Outeniqua Bowling Club last Saturday.
The fourth team to reach the semi-finals was Knysna Bowling Club, with members Arlene Bosse, Jeanette Botha and Marion Ward.
They played the finals against the George team consisting of Elma Davis, Johlene Bronkhorst and Phyllis Thompson.
The George ladies were ultimately crowned as the 2018 champion women trips team of Eden Bowls, with Knysna taking the silver medal.
Third place and a bronze medal went to another George team, Edith Spence, Lynn Alexander and Rina Pienaar.
