GEORGE NEWS - No fatalities were reported following a multi-vehicle crash on Nelson Mandela Boulevard on Tuesday evening, 29 September.
George Herald is awaiting feedback from police regarding any injuries sustained in the crash, as well as further details about the circumstances surrounding the incident.
The cause of the crash has not yet been confirmed.
A number of vehicles were involved in the collision, including a bus-like truck used to transport farm workers to and from work. It is unclear at this stage whether there were any passengers in the vehicle when the crash occurred.
The crash occurred at the corner of Merriman Street and Nelson Mandela Boulevard, resulting in the temporary closure of a section of Nelson Mandela Boulevard between Thembalethu Bridge and Mitchell Street.
The road was reopened at approximately 22:41 after the scene had been cleared.
