FOOTBALL NEWS & VIDEOS - The Lawaaikamp outfit Black Cats football club suffered another defeat at home when they faced the Cape Town boys Grassy Park United last weekend. They lost 2-1 in a challenging Western Cape ABC Motsepe League match on Saturday afternoon, 4 November, at the Lawaaikamp Stadium in George.
The three goals were converted by Tyrique Lottering (brace) for Grassy Park United and Lunga Jantjies for "Ikati Elimnyama" Black Cats. Black Cats played three opening league games so far, losing two matches and winning one.
Black Cats set the pace launching the first strong attack. They received a set piece outside the box, but Hussein Amimu's shot deflected to the opponents' defender, denying Black Cats their first chance.
Grassy Park attacked Black Cats' right back, but Black Cats goalkeeper Siyabonga Ntonga blocked the shot. Tyrique Lottering (Grassy Park United), Xolani Mandla (Black Cats) and Luzuko Sabelesiva (Black Cats) all made unsuccessful attempts at goal.

Grassy Park capitalised on a schoolboy mistake by Black Cats goalkeeper, Siyabonga Nonga, who failed to kick the ball from his area. Grassy Park lanky striker Tyrique Lottering took the ball from Nonga's feet and netted the first goal.
Black Cats tried to control the game from their central position on the field, creating chances, which they failed to convert. Grassy Park United was leading 1-0 going into the second half.
The second half started with Black Cats chasing an equalising goal. Hussein Amimu's attempt was denied by Grassy Park goalkeeper Fihlani Bonginkosi, forcing a corner kick for Black Cats, but they failed to score. Grassy Park attacked and Tyrique Lottering scored their second goal to make it 2-0.

Black Cats came back, scoring their first goal to make it 2-1 during the last minutes of the game. The visitors' defenders worked overtime defending their lead during the second half while the home side were chasing the game, but they failed to convert their chances inside the box.
