GEORGE NEWS - Parkrun in George is back in full swing. "We look forward to seeing you all again on Saturday 5 August at 08:00!" said communications officer Wayne Ryder.
Volunteers have been working around the clock to clear the forest paths of fallen trees, with the help of their team leader, Len Clark.
"Our volunteers gave up many hours of dedicated work to make this possible for our route," said Ryder.
"After six weeks of closure due to fallen trees and very muddy conditions, we are able to announce that the course have been made safe again. We can't wait to see all the parkrunners on Saturday."
