NATIONAL NEWS - The South African National Parks (SANParks) has advised visitors that the reopening of the Letaba High-Level Bridge in the north of Kruger National Park (H1-6) tar road has been rescheduled to 18 March.
The new date is a few days later than the initially anticipated date of 13 March.
The bridge was extremely damaged during the devastating floods of January, requiring extensive repairs.
“This change in dates has largely been necessitated by rainfall over the past week that resulted in the technical team losing approximately three days of production.
“Measures have been put in place to accelerate the remaining work required to reopen the bridge,” SANParks said on Thursday. -SAnews.gov.za
