Speaking to the Northglen News the woman, who did want to be named, not only confirmed that her mother had been violently assaulted in the incident but also revealed that she and her sister watched helplessly from inside the Devshi Drive home. She said they had, however, pressed the panic button to alert authorities.
The woman said they saw their parents arrive home in the CCTV footage. As always her dad (62) stopped at the bottom of the driveway to wait for the gate to close, but then a few minutes after he drove towards the house she was horrified to see four armed men jump over the gate and walk up the driveway.
“I immediately tried to phone my parents to warn them. My sister and I also screamed to alert my parents, but it was too late. One man pointed a gun at my mum (54) while another stood guard and two others held up my dad,” she said.
