The second concept model after the AMG-GT to feature the same Panamericana grille as the AMG-GT R, the Concept A Sedan introduces Mercedes' Aesthetics A design language for the first time, while also providing a glimpse of what to look forward out from the next generation A-class and B-class.
Measuring 4 570 mm in overall length and standing 1 462 mm high, the Concept A features the same coupe-like styling as the CLA, but dispenses with the "bolted-on" rear end styling for a sleeker appearance highlighted by shorter overhangs, triangular taillights and redesigned number plate area.
Riding on 20-inch alloy wheels completely filling the flared wheel arches, the Concept A also boasts near vertical C-pillars, triangular headlights coated in UV paint and exposed to ultraviolet light resulting in a purple glow, flush door handles, slimmer mirrors, powerdome bonnet bulge, diamond grid lower air intake and full-length panoramic roof.
