Capping off Opel's X range of crossovers, which includes the Mokka X and recently launched Crossland X, the Grandland X measures 4 477 mm in overall length, stands 1 636 mm tall and has a wheelbase of 2 675 mm, with boot space rated 514-litres or 1 652-litres with the rear seats folded down.
As per Opel / Vauxhall's current styling direction, the Grandland X sports the same frontal appearance as the Mokka X and Insignia Grand Sport, with the rear further incorporating elements of the multi-award winning Astra and Adam boutique hatch.
Although unconfirmed, the Grandland X will reportedly ride on the same EMP2 platform as the Peugeot 3008, with engines expected to mirror those of its French cousin. An optional Grip Control system with five undisclosed modes as so far been confirmed, with the rumour mill also speculating that all-wheel drive could be offered on some models unlike the front-wheel drive only Peugeot.
