Limited to just 500 units and based on the top spec double cab ST-X 4x4, the N-Sport comes fitted with black 18-inch alloy wheels, black sports bar, black nudge bar with LED light bar, gloss black honeycomb grille, smoked chrome foglight surrounds, black tonneau cover, black wheel arch extensions, N-Sport badging, Black Edition logos at the base of the doors and Twin Turbo decals on the side of the bonnet.
The interior remains unchanged from the standard Navara and as per the Twin Turbo badging, so does the 2.3-litre dCi oil burner, which again pumps out 140 kW and 450 Nm of torque. A six-speed manual gearbox is standard with a seven-speed automatic optional.
Pricing Down Under starts at $54 490 (R569 784) for the manual and at $56 990 (R595 926) for the automatic, although its remains unlikely that N-Sport Black Edition will be offered for sale on local shores anytime soon.
