According to reports, the application was submitted on July ninth under a number of categories, namely the Nice Classification 9 which involves technologies such as computers, radar and lidar, Nice Classification 12 involving motor vehicles and Nice Classification 37 that deals with servicing and maintenance.
The inclusion of the C-Pace, which will reportedly be based on the F-Pace, will expand Jaguar’s SUV offerings to four following the recent unveilings of the all-electric I-Pace and the smaller E-Pace. At present though, it remains to be seen when the C-Pace would indeed come to fruition as the application could also serve as a potential blocker from other manufactures using the same nomenclature.
