GEORGE NEWS - Acting Thembalethu High School principal, Mbuyiseni Edward Magxaka, couldn't be more happy as the school's pass rate has increased from 66,7% in 2019 to an impressive 80,1%.
Of the 171 matrics who wrote the exams, 137 pupils passed.
This year's top achiever is Joka Mbonomhle who achieved two As and an average of 76%.
Magxaka attributed the improved pass rate to the dedication of the teachers and learners who have done their utmost to ensure that the schools results increases.
