GEORGE NEWS - This year Pink Trees for Pauline will again serve cancer communities of South Africa. Their fresh new drive, Doek* with a difference, in association with the Cancer Association of South Africa (Cansa), aims to reach communities far and wide.
Cansa George Care Centre says funds raised are used specifically for care and support programmes for cancer patients and those affected by cancer.
Due to the success of the 2018 Pink Trees campaign, Cansa was able to purchase a variety of medical equipment that their patients need while receiving treatment and fighting cancer.
Purchase the signature pink material at R30 per metre, or a stunning doek, and show your support. Doek with a difference is an exciting way for the business sector to become involved and make a difference in the cancer communities of South Africa.
The head wraps or scarves are sold for R70 each. They are also available in green.
Pink fabric and doeks are available at all Cansa care centres countrywide. It is the support of this wonderful campaign that has allowed Cansa to do even more for their patients.
To get a doek or pink material, please contact Cansa Care Centre at 103 Merriman Street, George, or phone 044 874 4824.
* A doek is a head wrap or scarf.
