GEORGE NEWS & VIDEO - As part of an appreciation initiative for the sterling work done by Covid-19 health care workers, a convoy of officials from different government sections passed the George Hospital and Mediclinic George with hailing sirens earlier today.
The police's ghost squad, Eden Fire Brigade and representatives of all nine Correctional Centres in the district and the 10 Community Corrections Offices took part in the carcade.
The Department of Correctional Services is the host for the rest of the event starting later this morning at their premises in George.
