GEORGE NEWS - Hoekwil Primary School is getting ready to tee off for its annual golf day, to be held at the George Golf Club on Thursday 1 October.
It will be a special event for newly appointed principal Charl Kitching, marking his first golf day at the school.
It promises a day of friendly competition, good company and plenty of prizes, all while supporting the school and its learners.
The format will be four-ball betterball, with two scores to count. A four-ball costs R3 000 (R750 per player) and includes a meal and welcome drink. Businesses and individuals can also get involved by sponsoring a hole for R1 000.
