GEORGE NEWS & VIDEOS - George Mayor, Leon van Wyk, answered some tough questions at noon today during an interview with several media houses on the town's water situation.
There is still no tap water in most areas in town and people are lining up to fill their buckets for personal use.

The dam level is, however, looking splendid with an overflow of water since after the flood on Monday, 22 November.
According to van Wyk the water supply should be restored by the end of this week, taking into account that the reservoirs need at least 48 hours to refill after the pipe bursts have been fixed.
Two massive pipe bursts in Oewer Street and Rooirivierrif caused havoc to the city's water supply.
