GEORGE NEWS & VIDEO - A 500mm pipe-burst next to the Kat River near Oewer Street in Twee Rivieren, and a 1 000mm pipe-burst in Rooirivierrif are the main causes for the current water crisis in George.
The damage was incurred by the flash flood on Monday.
Technicians are currently trying to locate the pipe-burst in Rooirivierrif, and an appeal is made to the public to notify the municipality should they find any other pipe-bursts.
