Update on water trucks

GEORGE NEWS - Water trucks leave their sites intermittently to go and refill with water. Once they have refilled, they will return to their locations (as listed below).

The trucks will be in the different areas until 21:00 tonight.

Water trucks are situated at the following locations:

(Dellville Park, Pacaltsdorp) at Pacaltsdorp Superette, Dellville Park
(Pacaltsdorp) Pick n Pay Beach Road, Pacaltsdorp
(Denneoord area) C/O 8th Avenue and Wellington Street at Multisave
(Denneoord area) Wallace Street at the Dennerus Old Age Home
(Bo Dorp) At the Spar in Wellington Street
(CBD) Tuinroete Agri – York Street
(George South) In the parking area at the Checkers Centre in York Street across Eden Technical High School (old PW Botha High School)
(George South) at Engen Garage C/O Nelson Mandela Boulevard and Cradock street
(Rosemoor) Busy Corner
(Rosemoor) Canary Street in front of the VGK Church
(Rosemoor) Attakwa Street in front of the Rosemoor Old Age Home
(Camphersdrift) Botanical Gardens at the top of Caledon Street
(George East) Behind old Duggies in parking area of Prestons
(George Central) Caledon Street in front of the George Library
(George Central) Next to Caltex garage and George Museum (Please note: This truck will also be roaming to provide Tuiniqua Old Age Home and other critical requests from clinics etc. water)

The public can also use containers to collect water at the Fire Department in Mitchell Street.
