GEORGE NEWS - The very first Community Market of Life Community Services held at the Life Village was a huge success. People streamed to the market on Saturday 15 May to share in a day filled with loads of families, fun and food.
There was a massive jumping castle and children could take part in various other creative activities, while the adults could enjoy shopping at the clothes store or vegetable garden, before coming together at the coffee tent.
"The day was an unbelievable success as we saw 665 people from all over George celebrating the community. Our next one is on 4 September and we would love to see as many Georgians there as possible," said David May, funding and marketing officer at Life.
Interesting and pretty items were for sale.
The fresh vegetables from Life Community Services' own garden sold fast.
