GEORGE NEWS - Kayleigh Cornforth of Holy Cross Primary School is off to Kenya this coming weekend to represent South Africa at an upcoming chess tournament.
In October she represented Eden at the Western Cape Schools Chess Tournament in Caledon, where she won the u.9 girls section. She was also selected for the Western Cape Schools chess team.
With her is Jane Askew, principal of Holy Cross, at the school's prize-giving earlier this week where Kayleigh received a trophy.
