McCombi was sentenced to 15 years imprisonment for robbery with aggravating circumstances and life for murder. The two sentences will run concurrently.
Molligan got 10 years for robbery with aggravating circumstances and on the murder charge 25 years imprisonment, of which five years are suspended.
The murder took place two years ago, when they broke into Henson's home in Paul Kruger Street, Sedgefield, on 16 September 2019.
They got away with eight items including a DStv decoder, Henson's diary, and a silver lighter.
The duo was arrested later that same night at McCombi's residence in Geelblom Street in Smutsville.
