GEORGE NEWS - Notice was received from George Municipality that the Electrotechnical Directorate offices in Brick Road will be closed to the public tomorrow, Wednesday 18 November 2020 due to Covid-19 related measures.
The offices will open again on Thursday, 19 November 2020.
The municipality apologises for the inconvenience and remains committed to deliver services in the face of ongoing Covid-19 challenges.
"Please report any electrotechnical matters including, power outages, broken street lights and faulty traffic lights today at 044 801 6300.
Estimated response times from recorded time of complaint at above numbers:
Low voltage electricity - within 24 hours
High voltage electricity faults - can be longer 24 hours depending on type of fault
Street lights - three to four weeks
