EDEN DISTRICT NEWS - Eden Disaster Management Chief Gerhard Otto received a severe weather warning from the South African Weather Service with possible flooding over the eastern areas of the Eden District (east of Mossel Bay) on Friday and Saturday, 15 and Saturday 16 September.
Otto said the alert level at the moment is "watch" and not yet a "warning".
Currently, rainfall is expected in Mossel Bay (15mm on Friday and 20mm on Saturday), George (20mm on Friday and 30mm on Saturday), and Knysna (15mm on Friday and 25mm on Saturday).
The rain is expected from 18:00 on Friday and on Saturday from midnight.
Otto said an update is expected tomorrow morning early.
