Death after community assault
Bongani Gowu, died in a police cell on 2 July 2018 after he was assaulted by community members at Teyise Street in Zone 9 who accused him of rape and housebreaking. Back yard murder
The body of Xolilwe Zadunge was found in a back yard shack at Xhipu Street in Zone 3 on 23 September 2018. The deceased had two stab wounds to his upper body. Contact Sgt Thembelani Kima of Thembalethu Detectives on 044 802 8934 / 072 310 8014.
No clues for Mabhoza's murder
The body of Thembinkosi Mabhoza (41) was found at 37th Street in Zone 7 on 7 October 2018. The suspects and the reason for the killing are not known.

Fight leads to murder
Thembalethu Police attended to a complaint of fighting at Tabata Street on 24 November 2018. When the police arrived at the scene, they found the body of an unknown man with a stab wound to his upper body.

Chased and stabbed
Thanduxolo Ntsendwana's body was found at Kwezi Street in Zone 6 on 30 November 2018. It is alleged that the victim was chased by an unknown suspect who stabbed him and ran away. The reason for the killing is unknown.

Killed on Christmas Day
The body of Athi Ndzumo (23) was found by the police in 14th Street in Zone 8, Thembalethu, on 25 December 2018. He had a stab wound to his upper body.
The reason for his killing and the suspects are not known. At the time of his death he was wearing a blue shirt and blue jeans and his shoes were next to him.
