GEORGE NEWS - Pacaltsdorp police have opened an inquest docket after the scorched body of a man was found amongst debris of a dove cage that burnt down in Benjamin Street, Rosedale, at approximately 03:45 this morning, Friday 18 September.
It is believed that the deceased frequently used the empty cage as a resting or overnight place.
According to Southern Cape police spokesperson, Capt Malcolm Pojie, no foul play is suspected at this stage.
The name of the deceased cannot be published yet as his next of kin has not been informed.
