GEORGE NEWS - The launch of the Library and Information Association of South Africa (Liasa) Southern Cape branch, which was scheduled for Thursday 19 March at the George Regional Library as part of library week, has been cancelled.
According to assistant media liaison officer of George Municipality, Debra Sauer, the event will take place later this year.
The senior librarian of the George Library, Malibongwe Luyenge, has confirmed to George Herald that the Q-lit reading circle’s meeting at the library tomorrow evening, 17 March, will continue.
The event starts at 19:00 and will be a celebration of the life and works of storyteller PG du Plessis.
