GEORGE NEWS - Residents have 35 days, until 5 December, to give their written input on various proposals, as set out in a document on the Draft Spatial Development Framework for George.
Thereafter the document will be reviewed and revised, and tabled for Council in the new year.
If you have an interest in the future development of the city, plans for densification (more residential units) and proposed office parks, take time to read the document online or at the George Library.
Members of the public and interested parties can submit written representations in respect of the draft document, addressed to the Municipal Manager, Trevor Botha.
Representations must be submitted in writing no later than 5 December 2018 at: 5th Floor, Civic Centre, York Street, George. Alternatively, post it to PO Box 9, George, 6530 or send an e-mail to dpower@george.gov.za.
