GEORGE NEWS - The game between Vista and All Stars ended in a one-all stalemate on Friday 1 December at the Thembalethu stadium.
The two sides were battling to secure a top position in the George Local Football Association League (Geolfa).
Vista players Mawanda Msilelo, Mziwana Mashunqa and Lazola Soni launched the first attack of the game, attacking the right wing and threatening the defence of the Zone 9 giants All Stars.
Twenty-five minutes into the game both sides were still struggling to break the net.
Vuyani Mplatyi drove a powerful shot and hit the upright just outside of the box. Mawanda Msilelo worked hard to get a goal for his side, but failed to convert his chances to goals.
The first half of the game ended 0-0.
During the second half, Vista came back hard, attacking the defence of All Stars.
Bandile Mabhunga scored with a beautiful long-range shot after the All Stars goalkeeper failed to handle the ball.
Vista was leading until the last ten minutes of the game.
All Stars veteran player Vuyani Mplatyi turned the shaky Vista back line just inside the box and managed to score their first goal to equalise.
The game ended 1-1.
