GEORGE NEWS & VIDEO - Hours of practice and hard work paid off when the orchestra and choir of Carpe Musicam! attracted a full house for their performance Last Night of the Proms.
The audience had the opportunity to enjoy a lovely programme of classical music last Saturday at the Outeniqua Transport Museum.

Their repertoire included The Holy City by Stephen Foster, Jerusalem by Sir Hubert Parry and Blue Moon by Rodgers & Hart.
Marlene Tagliavini, Ronell Kruger, orchestra leader Norman Carless and Hannes Wannenburg performed as soloists during the course of the evening.
"The evening exceeded my wildest expectations in terms of performance, quality and audience participation," said Carless. "The positive feedback continues to be absolutely overwhelming."
