GEORGE - South Cape Shelving (SCS) in George celebrated its 10th birthday this month and is launching a competition where a Vuka can be won.
According to Louis Stander, who runs this successful business with his sons, Hein and Jaco, they are looking for a new logo for their company.
They are inviting anyone from the public to come up with fresh new logo ideas which entrants can drop off at their offices in Langenhoven Street. The winner stands to win a brand new Vuka motorbike.
On what makes their business such a success, Stander says it is owing to ‘only the grace of God’ and their friendly and excellent service.
"Our dedication, experience and quality service and prices keep us miles ahead of our competitors," says Stander.
Besides the three Stander men at the office they have a fourth staff member, Michael Erasmus, who also forms part of this excelling team.
SCS also does its bit to help with job creation. When they are working on large contracts in George or elsewhere in the country they employ local workers.
"We are proud to be the leader in the supply and installation of steel shelving and racking, wheels, castors, ladders, trolleys and pallet trucks. We now also manu-facture wooden decks to add to our clients’ storage capacity," says Stander.
SCS renders services to companies, big or small, hospitals, supermarkets, various private and public institutions, municipalities and any members of the public. They have clients as far as Gaboen, Namibia and Botswana.
All quotations for wooden decks are provided free of charge. SCS also provides free advice on store layouts for optimum use of floor space to maximise storage capacity while still maintaining easy and safe access to goods.
